The space for Mulher Mulheres is almost ready. The exhibition, curated by Adelina von Furstenberg and organized by Art for the World in collaboration with the SESC network, is an evolution of the show Woman Women which opened in Florence more than a year ago. It's the first time that this ex-office space is used for an exhibition, so it was interesting to see that the spaces started to acquire an apartment quality, though that would have to be a slightly paranoid apartment.the space is realized thanks to the team of local architect Marcio Medeira. Opening 8th March, SESC Paulista, Avenida Paulista 119, Paraiso.

Istanbul 3
Not sure how many posts you can get out of a city, but Istanbul is definitely a spectacular place. Here's a more or less random selection of photos, even though everything is in the end related to everything.

Notes on Istanbul
We're in Istanbul because Angelo is this months' artist for the YAMA project, organized by the lovely Sylvia Kouvali. YAMA is a huge screen in the middle of Istanbul. This is the view from the 17th floor of Marmara Pera Hotel, just below the screen. These suburbs are supposed to be pretty dodgy
and looking up to the YAMA screen
some random collection of objects on the street
a scaffolding that looks like a building
another scaffolding that looks like another building, on the way to Taksim square
probably the most fabulous door I've seen,
leading from the Dolma Basche right into the Bosphorous

COLLATERAL, opening photos
Yes, I've kind of overdone it with the COLLATERAL posts, but I just received these photos by Lorenza Mercuri, and I couldn't resist posting them because they tell the story of the space so much better...
