This is Dickie House, by Rob Krier (1976)
When Rob designed this house,
it was all about Golden Sections and sophisticated references
it was all about Golden Sections and sophisticated references
Rob is of course the older brother of Leon Krier
both super influential post-modern neo-traditionalists
little did they know that this would end up being
the blueprint for every mini-mall and rite-aid store
in Whateverville
and the signature porch would be home to every passing homeless.
Intriguingly the perfect cube house has a room for a household spirit
which is maybe an entity from another time?
that lives amongst the lines of the suddenly super interesting line drawings
