Bye bye Theory

Somehow this past weekend I browsed past John Hedjuk's "Bye House". I was never a particular fan of Hedjuk, I love the drawings and I recognize the importance of that streak of the avant garde, especially in the historical context bla bla bla. What I had not realized was that the Bye House had gotten built, and though it does look somehow fun, I think I lost something there. Should one build theory? Paper architecture in concrete? maybe better left to paper I think, though of course this is no vote.

Today we're supposed to "Call in Gay", not show up at work, and donate our time to work against the hateful H8.. But what do you do when you're the boss? How to call in Gay? Stereo Nostalgia

Last night was the gigantic LIFO magazine party, where Stereo Nova reunited for a short performance.

It was a total memorabilia evening, as Stereo Nova were the bright beacon of the hazy 90's days. And overtaken with nostalgia, I browsed on youtube, and everything is there of course. I even found my two collaborations with them, which I had lost for a long time

I'm missing all the South Beach festivities (and Art of course, ooops) where Angelo went to present his We give you money, we want your love "Board Meeting" at Nueva Galleria De La Barra. Still, with a hangover, I managed to drag myself down to this North facing beach anyway
