28th Bienal Sao Paulo
Last night was the preview opening for the 28th Bienal de Sao Paulo, but we had sneaked in a few days before. The Bienal has famously run out of money this year, so it was decided to make this a central statement.
the amazingly empty 2nd floor
looking out to ivy covered trees
the statement, which was almost the only information in English.
Everything else was in Portugese, so and it became a guessing game of who did what, apart from the pieces we recognised immediately like Matt Mullican, Alan McCollum and Carsten Holler
great chairs by .... who seems to have designed have the bienal.
towers to climb up and look at the space
and stools
