Eternal Sameness of the Spotless Nothing

Beijing is being renovated and developed so fast
that there is almost no more Beijing in Beijing.
Just endless rows of same skyscraper after skyscraper
after highway after shopping mall after billboard after ever after.

except of course from
the awesomeness of the CCTV Headquarters

Athensville: The Podium Bar and the Platform Cinema

At the Athensville exhibition, curated by Marina Fokidis:
The Podium Bar is made of exhibition podiums
painted and stacked
a fortress for drinks
during the opening it was pretty packed
the bar disappeared
podiums for peopleSylvia Kouvali and Christodoulos Panayiotou taking things to a logical conclusion,
while Thodoris Amateur coolly continues his discussion
next to the bar was the Platform Cinema
a platform that becomes a screen
with odd conference chairs (thanks Carteco!)
looking at Eva Vredzakis' fantastic Werewolf in Athens
people were hanging around

Dolmen, Quoit or the Dragons' House

Always been fascinated with Stonehedge and Dolmen Houses, and today I found out that in Greek they are called Δρακόσπιτα (Dragonhouses), which makes everything so more interesting and urgent. Dolmens are also called Quoits or Cromlechs, it all depends where they are, but here's a few cool examples...
typical cromlech
Dolmen
Stonehedge
of course
the most famous Dragon House in Karystos
looks totally livable
almost comfortable
little dolmen
great rocks
